The next day started early, as usual. We had breakfast and
a small stroll to a nearby lake.

After that, we checked out and took the bus to
Kandy (two busses, actually).
The bus route to Kandy is as beautiful as the
hill-station itself: all lush and green.
Bus dropped us at the main station, from where we got tuktuk
for our hotel. Same procedure was followed here- we checked in, dropped the
luggage and headed to Kandy Botanical Garden (Ticket Price- LKR 1500). This
place was simply amazing, in truest sense of the word. The greenery combined
excellent maintenance, both combine to add to the beauty of this place.

Next were Kandy lake and Kandy lake view-point, both of
which were covered before the sunset.

Temple of tooth, yet another tourist
attraction in Kandy, is right beside the Kandy Lake, and can be visited at the
same time (we did not go there though).
